IBM STUDENTS WON THE SOUTH EAST ASIA AND TAIWAN UNIVERSITIES (SATU) BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION
Southeast Asia and Taiwan Universities (SATU) Summit on Industry - Academia Collaboration and Business Plan Competition, Bangkok, Thailand
A team of our own Small Business Management students was among 22 other teams from 8 different countries in Asia to enter the SATU Business Plan Competition held from 19-21 November 2007 at Mahidol University International College and jointly organized by the National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan R.O.C. Our team submitted thier lucrative small business proposal for 'Chlorophyll Restaurant'.
The SATU competition was open to over 100 member universities from 11 countries throughout Asia. Twenty winners of the preliminary contest made their professional presentations during a two-day three-round competition configuration. Our Chlorophyll team was one of the six finalist teams and received the Special Prize and USD$500. The 1st Prize Winner was awarded to a university team from Taiwan R.O.C.
